Cape Cod Macarons was started by Kristin Stewart in her kitchen on Cape Cod. She tried her first batch of macarons in February 2021. They were a complete and utter disaster! The month of March is cold, wet, and dark on Cape Cod. It's a rough one to get through. So in March of that same year, Kristin decided she would make a batch of macarons every day in an effort to try and perfect this finicky confection. After 30 batches, she felt she had a good understanding of the ups and downs of macarons making (though these little cookies can still throw in a challenge for seemingly no reason at any time!)
Her efforts in March have now parlayed into a small business and she is delighted you have joined us in the journey.
